Evening : We invite you to the Opera at the Palais Garnier
The Palais Garnier is the thirteenth theatre to house the Paris Opera since it was founded by Louis XIV in 1669. It was built on the orders of Napoleon III as part of the great Parisian reconstruction project carried out by Baron Haussmann. The project for an opera house was put out to competition and was won by Charles Garnier, an unknown 35-year-old architect. Building work, which lasted fifteen years, from 1860 to 1875, was interrupted by numerous incidents, including the 1870 war, the fall of the Empire and the Commune. The Palais Garnier was inaugurated on 15 January 1875.
After this opera, we invite them to have dinner in a very famous place situated just in front of the opera : the "Café de la Paix".
Opened since 1862, the Café de la Paix is a mythical place in Paris. Royal families of the whole world, members of the political, financial and artistic elites, artists and writers attended this establishment of reputation.
Entirely restored, all was given to new, the hall of reception, the vast rooms and their papered alcoves of red benches, for an elegant decoration, very clear thanks to large windows. The chief Patrick Morin revisits typical Parisian dishes by associating creativity and lightness. A meeting with the History, of chiefs of works of architecture, a meeting with Parisian elegance?
After dinner, your guests will have access to the private Club. In this environment animated by the best DJ of the capital, they will discover an exclusive place dedicated to the festival, the music and the dance.. a typical trendy Parisian night!
