St. James, capital of the autonomous community of Galicia. A city welcoming each year tourists and pilgrims from all around the world.
The old city is the final step of the St. James way. It is indexed a World Heritage Site.
The main particularity of this millennium city is its historic richness. The palaces, the churches, the squares and the old town are undeniable places of the town.
The Way of St. James on the presumed grave of St. James is, with Jerusalem and Rome, of the most important of the Christendom.
You will be welcomed at the « Sidra » located in the historic center of Santiago, at few meters only from the cathedral. Establishment dating from the 17th century, it has known how to preserve its traditional charm. Spacious bedrooms, swimming pool, terrace looking out the city and equipped meeting rooms !
Day 1 : Work / Challenge of 4x4 / Medieval Evening
Reception and check-in.
Working Session : it will be punctuated of a gourmet break (coffee, tea, milk, fruits juices and Viennese buns).
Lunch at the Sidra
Challenge of 4x4 GPS by team
You will set forth for the search of beacons, and you will discover the region of St. James, an original discovery way.
You will be provided with a road book, a map, and a GPS.
You will meet our animators who will give you clues on the different stages in order to continue your adventure.
By rotation, you will become copilots as informed driver. Attention, lots of surprises will be waiting for you and come upon you unexpectedly !!!
At the arrival of the teams in a mysterious sanctuary, there will be a rewarding ceremony for the winners, followed by a local aperitif animated by Celtic singers and guitarists.
Medieval Evening
Knights and minstrels, sales talker, jugglers and King bishops, beautiful dancers and noblewomen will take you away in the History whirl.
Come enjoy a royal feast! with candles, worthy of the Middle-Ages.
Warm reception of the guests by the Chamberlain at the entrance of the room, in a musical and feast ambiance created by troubadours and jugglers.
Horn announcement and presentation of each meal on palanquin by waiters in costume preceded by musicians, magicians, show-men,...
Final row by the whole troupe.
Leave of the guests in the middle of jugglers' row-line equipped with burning torches.
Day 2 : Working / Challenge of Golf/ Dinner in the Old City
Working Session :
You will work in the morning, then you will meet again for a tasty lunch of the Hotel' terrace.
Challenge of Golf
A golfing initiating session could be organized on the 18 holes course of the domain. Accessible to all type of players, this activity will relax the participants and they will enjoy the charm of the domain.
You will be trained by professionals who will initiate the beginners to the techniques of the swing or to the putt, and will improve the « approach shot » and the draw of the most informed.
Afterwards, you will join the Club House for the closing cocktail (Champagne, soft drink and salty assortment). Our animators will reveal the classification of the teams.
Dinner in the Old City
Dinner : you will return to the Old City, then we will take you away to the « Plaza Mayor » for your dinner where you will taste a seafood cooking. Menu in function of the captures of the day !
Day 3 : The Way of St. James with horses
The Ways of St. James by walk but also with horses ! Return few centuries ago, in the Middle-Ages!
Copious breakfast !
On the road, we have an appointment in the stables where the horses are waiting for you.
After some security instructions and explanations, you will mount, then our animators will take you away on one of the historical Ways of St. James.
You will be explorers during the day, for the search of new adventures and sensations.
You will cross the reserves of the best protected of the meridional of Europe, and you will discover the rich fauna and flora.
A simple and convivial lunch will be served in a traditional refuge of St. James' Pilgrims.
It's here that you will give back your mounts and you will return to your respective homes.
